For the first time in my brief Moon observing career I had a chance
to revisit an area I had previously observed in great detail.
At around 9:15PM EDT on October 2, with the terminator at approximately the
same selenographic longitude as the evening of August 4, Schickard had much
more detail available but Nasmyth and Phocylides together formed an extension
of the darkness from the night-time side of the terminator. The whole area had
no hint of a foot-like shape.
It is really exciting to see how much difference there is between
the same point in two lunations.
