I came inside and transferred the "live" sketch to a larger scale. The top portion of the second drawing is supposed to have approximately the same content as the "live" sketch. While the larger scale allows more detailed shading, the proportions are not as true to life as in the drawing made at the eyepiece. The inset portion of the second drawing represents how the shadows along the West end of the South wall of Bailly had changed over a period of 25 minutes.
